Extending of the house is quite common in Luxembourg. It requires however an involvement of an architect, as most of the communes in Luxembourg require certified architect to submit the plans for building permission.

House extension is more complicated than the renovation and requires a very close co-ordination of different works. Windows, plumbing and heating, electric, floors, walls, etc.
